ERASMUS+ ESC30-SOL

We had a wonderful event at Sorgun Picnic Area! As the final activity of our ESC-30 project, we enjoyed delightful moments in nature.

The event held at the Sorgun Boğaz Picnic Area with the students of Manavgat Faculty of Tourism and Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, it was not just an exploration on sustainable tourism and social impact; it was a deep journey of discovery and learning! Organized under the ESC-30 project, this event served as more than just a delightful day spent in nature; it was a significant platform for raising awareness among future generations and fostering social cohesion.

Throughout the program, activities such as nature clean-ups and hikes not only allowed participants to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature but also encouraged them to deepen their environmental responsibilities. During the hikes, we had the opportunity to get up close with the richness of natural life.

Moreover, the presentation by sustainability expert, Associate Professor Dr. Ramazan EREN, provided participants with a deeper insight into sustainable tourism and environmental conservation. His knowledge and experience clearly emphasized the crucial role of future generations in building a sustainable future.

From a social perspective, the spirit of collaboration and solidarity fostered a strong sense of connection and mutual respect among the students. This event led to a profound awareness and increased motivation among participants. This special day spent in nature not only reminded us of the importance of being environmentally conscious but also highlighted the significance of empathy and community engagement. Once again, we experienced the power of collective action and the potential for making significant changes through small steps.
